LiveEO is deepening its partnership with SAP to deliver a more complete approach to EU Deforestation Regulation compliance, integrating SAP Green Token's ERP-connected traceability with LiveEO's satellite-based deforestation risk intelligence solution for operators and traders across Europe who are preparing for the December 2026 enforcement deadline.

A Partnership Built on Complementary Strengths

Leveraging its partnership with SAP, LiveEO has been working to address one of the biggest challenges of EUDR: bringing together operational traceability and deforestation-risk intelligence within existing business processes. Planned API integrations are intended to connect SAP Green Token and LiveEO’s TradeAware, helping organizations manage compliance through a more integrated compliance workflow. SAP Green Token provides ERP-connected, transaction-level traceability and due diligence workflows, while LiveEO's TradeAware contributes satellite-based deforestation risk intelligence layer and monitoring.

By integrating SAP Green Token with LiveEO’s TradeAware platform, organisations can build a compliance workflow embedded in their existing operations. LiveEO’s TradeAware is now available on SAP Store, making it easier for SAP customers to discover and deploy complementary capabilities for EUDR compliance.

The Urgency of EUDR Readiness

The 30 December 2026 deadline for large and medium-sized operators is confirmed and will not change. Following the EU Commission's simplification package in May 2026, organisations now have the regulatory clarity they have been waiting for and the time to act is running out.

Organisations that cannot demonstrate compliance risk losing access to the EU market, fines of up to 4% of EU annual turnover, and significant supply chain disruption. EUDR is not a sustainability reporting exercise. It requires operational processes supported by connected technology rather than manual, disconnected compliance activities.

"SAP Green Token's traceability capabilities and LiveEO's satellite risk intelligence are built to complement each other.”, says Piero Marlia, Director, Global Partnerships, LiveEO. “Through this integration, LiveEO can help organisations build the complete picture they need to approach compliance with confidence and to scale that compliance as their supply chains evolve."

Supporting Customer Readiness

As organisations move from understanding EUDR requirements to implementing operational processes, SAP and LiveEO intend to continue expanding their collaboration to help customers build scalable, audit-ready compliance capabilities.

With regulatory clarity increasing and implementation timelines confirmed, organisations are entering a critical phase of EUDR readiness. LiveEO and SAP are working together to help customers build trusted, operational compliance capabilities that support both market access and long-term supply chain resilience.
