EUDR asks you to show the wood was harvested legally: land rights, harvest permits, taxes, customs, and human rights. Professional collects all of that. Your suppliers fill in questionnaires and upload their documents against each answer, and it’s all kept on the supplier’s profile as part of your evidence.

What you don’t get is CMS, the law firm we work with, reading those documents and telling you whether they hold up. You do that yourself. With a few suppliers you already know well, that’s usually simple enough. It gets harder when your chain runs through many tiers and land rights are unclear — that’s when the legal review is worth paying for, and it comes with Enterprise.

Every plot is checked against open-source deforestation data as soon as it arrives. You don’t export coordinates, convert files or open a second tool. The result shows on the supplier’s profile, plot by plot, and is saved with the documents as part of your evidence.

Professional uses open-source data. Precision Analytics, our own deforestation models, plus a team that reviews the plots where the answer isn’t clear-cut — comes with Enterprise. Most simple supply chains don’t need it.

Three things, usually: the chasing, the copying and the filing.

A manual process tends to look like this. You email each supplier for coordinates and documents. You collect the replies in a spreadsheet. You convert the coordinates by hand to run a check. You paste satellite images into a separate document. Then you log in to TRACES and type the statement in.

With TradeAware, suppliers send their own plots and answers through an invite link, and can pass the same request on to their own suppliers. Checks run as soon as a plot arrives. The supplier risk score tells you what to follow up on. Your statement is built from the same record and sent to TRACES, using only the plots for that shipment.

Professional includes risk scoring for 5 suppliers and 50 due diligence statements per contract year. Plots and geolocations are unlimited. Extra suppliers cost €15 per supplier per month, up to 20.

One thing to check before you sign up: statements follow shipments, not suppliers. EUDR asks you to file each time you place goods on the market, so count shipments rather than suppliers when you work out whether 50 is enough.

If you need more than 20 suppliers, several users, more than one legal entity or API access, Professional isn’t the right fit. Talk to us about Enterprise instead.

You’re invoiced €1,197 when you sign up. That covers the first three months, and you have full access from day one.

If it hasn’t done what you needed within those three months, tell us and the contract ends. You pay nothing more. If you carry on, we invoice the remaining €2,793 for the rest of the year.

That way you can test it on your own suppliers and your own shipments before committing to a full year, instead of deciding from a demo.
