Pipeline damage prevention rarely fails for lack of information. It fails because the information sits in too many places. A one-call ticket lives in one system, a patrol report in another, a landowner's phone call in someone's inbox, and the latest imagery in a folder nobody opens until after the fact. On its own, each signal looks minor. Put together, they are often the clearest warning an operator gets before a strike.
Across the Middle East, Asia and Africa, that problem is growing with the networks themselves. New gas transmission lines, export corridors and industrial zones are being built alongside fast-expanding cities, while long stretches of pipe cross desert and remote terrain where ground patrols are slow and costly. More kilometers of pipe means more construction near the right of way, and more data to reconcile before anyone can act on it.
ADIPEC 2026 takes place November 2–5 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Hosted by ADNOC under the patronage of the UAE President, it is the annual meeting point for the global oil, gas and wider energy industry, with more than 200,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibitors expected.
This year's theme, "Turning opportunity into action," fits the conversation we want to have: how operators move from scattered signals to a single, current picture of the risks along their pipelines.
Bringing SurfaceScout to the AI Zone
You will find LiveEO at AI Pod #26, inside the AI Zone at the center of the exhibition floor. The zone brings together companies applying AI to real energy operations, which is exactly where SurfaceScout belongs.
SurfaceScout is LiveEO's AI-powered satellite monitoring solution for pipeline damage prevention. It combines high-cadence satellite imagery with AI-driven change detection to spot third-party activity and ground movement along the right of way, and puts every detection into one shared view that damage prevention, integrity and field teams can work from. It is built to sit alongside existing patrol, one-call and integrity programs, not to replace them.
With SurfaceScout, pipeline operators can:
- See the whole network, continuously. Monitor long corridors across desert, remote and hard-to-reach terrain without waiting for the next patrol or aerial survey.
- Catch third-party activity before it becomes a strike. Detect excavation, construction and heavy machinery near the pipe while there is still time to intervene.
- Watch the ground itself. Track subsidence, erosion, flood damage and slope movement along the right of way.
- Cut through the noise. AI-driven change classification with human-in-the-loop validation keeps false alarms low, so field crews spend their time on real threats.
- Work from one source of truth. Give control room, integrity and field teams the same up-to-date view of every detection, its status and the action taken.
- Prove what was done. Keep a dated, audit-ready record of every detection and response for integrity management, safety cases and regulator engagement.
Built for teams protecting growing networks
National oil companies, pipeline operators and their EPC and service partners are adding pipe faster than they are adding people. Damage prevention teams use SurfaceScout to catch unpermitted work early. Integrity engineers use it to see what has changed along the route since the last inspection. Operations leads use it to compare exposure across a portfolio and to show that external threats are being identified and closed out along the full length of the network.
Catch our product showcase on the AI Zone Stage
On Tuesday, we take the AI Zone Stage for a ten-minute SurfaceScout product showcase. It is short, focused and built around one question: what does damage prevention look like when every signal ends up in the same place?
Session: From Scattered Signals to One Source of Truth for Pipeline Damage Prevention
Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Time: 3:45 PM to 3:55 PM (GST)
Location: AI Zone Stage
Format: 10-minute product demo
Afterwards, the team will be back at AI Pod #26 to continue the conversation and walk through what it would look like on your own network.
Let's Connect in Abu Dhabi!
You will find the LiveEO team at AI Pod #26, in the AI Zone at the center of the exhibition, across all four days.
The exhibition is free to attend for registered visitors, so you do not need a conference pass to come and find us. Stop by to see SurfaceScout in action, talk through the external risks on your own network, and pick up a SurfaceScout brochure.
We look forward to seeing you at ADNEC!
