We are heading back to Melbourne for Australian Energy Week 2026, running June 9-12 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As Australia’s most senior annual gathering for the electricity sector, AEW brings together 1,200+ professionals from transmission, distribution, generation, retail, renewables, and government, making it the ideal place to have the conversations that matter most for the grid’s future.

Showcasing Treeline for Australia’s Expanding Grid

Australia’s energy transition is driving one of the most ambitious transmission build programmes in the world. AEMO’s Integrated System Plan outlines nearly 10,000 km of new transmission infrastructure, including HumeLink, VNI West, Marinus Link, and EnergyConnect, running through thousands of kilometres of rural and bushland corridors. As these new lines come online and existing networks face increasing vegetation pressure, third-party damage exposure is climbing fast.

At Booth C18, we will be showcasing Treeline, our satellite-powered solution built to help transmission and distribution network operators monitor vegetation risk, detect encroachments, and protect grid assets at scale, without relying solely on manual field patrols.

With Treeline, Australian network operators can:

  • Monitor entire transmission corridors continuously using high-resolution satellite imagery
  • Detect vegetation encroachment, third-party damage risks, and easement violations before they cause outages
  • Scale inspection coverage across thousands of kilometres without proportional field crew costs
  • Generate audit-ready compliance reports aligned with Australian network safety regulations
  • Support long-term asset planning across new AEMO ISP corridors and existing line infrastructure

Why Australian Energy Week?

AEW 2026 will convene senior leaders from across Australia’s entire electricity value chain under one roof, with 8 focused industry streams covering transmission, distribution, BESS, renewables development, grid-edge innovation, and more.

The conversations happening in Melbourne this June, about re-engineering the grid, managing new infrastructure risk, and scaling smarter monitoring, are exactly the challenges where satellite intelligence creates measurable impact for network operators.

Let’s Connect in Melbourne!

You can find the LiveEO team at Booth C18, located in the centre of the exhibition hall right next to the Networking Lounge, one of the highest-traffic areas of the entire event.

Our confirmed delegates, Bonita Lloyd, Alan Khoo, and Priya Kumar, will be on-site throughout the exhibition on June 10-11. Stop by to explore a live demo of Treeline, discuss how satellite monitoring can work for your specific network, and pick up one of our custom LiveEO Lego kits.

We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne!
