There is no more waiting room.
EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators, and from 30 June 2027 for micro and small enterprises. The Commission's simplification package adjusted product scope, updated the Information System and expanded the guidance, but it did not move the date, and the Commission has been explicit that it does not intend to reopen the legal text.
That leaves thirteen weeks. Enough time to close real gaps, but not enough to start from scratch. upplier data collection, consistently the longest part of any implementation, is the one thing that cannot be compressed.
