TradeAware Due Diligence System Summary for EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) Compliance
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, imposes obligations on our company as we place, make available, or export relevant commodities and derived products on or from the EU market.
This document describes how our organisation uses TradeAware as our Due Diligence System in order to meet the requirements described in article 12 of the EUDR on the “Establishment and maintenance of due diligence systems, reporting and record keeping”. It is intended for our customers, partners and competent authorities as a summary of our processes and tooling.
TradeAware by LiveEO is a Due Diligence System designed specifically to help companies meet their obligations under the EUDR. It is used by companies involved in the production, trade, and sale of relevant commodities and products to demonstrate compliance through the collection, validation, and documentation of required information—covering geolocation data, deforestation risk assessments, supply chain traceability, and risk mitigation activities.
This document outlines how TradeAware supports the design and implementation of a due diligence system in line with the Regulation. Customers may provide this document to authorities or value chain partners to demonstrate the steps taken through TradeAware to comply with Articles 3 to 12 of the Regulation.

We apply the Due Diligence system to the commodities and derived products within the scope of the EUDR which we place on, or export from, the EU market. This includes monitoring our sourcing, collecting required information, assessment of risk, and actions to mitigate risk of deforestation and illegality.
TradeAware supports us in these tasks by providing digital workflows that allow us to:
We gather the information required under Article 9 of the EUDR using TradeAware:
We then conduct risk assessments for suppliers and plots using the risk‑assessment workflows in TradeAware, tracking risk statuses, notes and history.
When risks are identified, we use mitigation workflows in TradeAware (or internal processes) to manage corrective actions and monitor progress. Deforestation indicators are tracked over time.
TradeAware allows us to:
